చంద్రయాన్ -3 అనేది భారతీయ అంతరిక్ష పరిశోధన సంస్థ చేపట్టదలచిన చంద్ర యాత్ర. భారత చంద్రయాన్ కార్యక్రమంలో ఇది మూడవది. చంద్రయాన్-2 లో లాగానే ఇందులో కూడా ఒక రోవరును, ఒక ల్యాండరునూ పంపుతారు. కానీ ఇందులో ఆర్బిటరు ఉండదు. దాని ప్రొపల్షను మాడ్యూలే రిలే ఉపగ్రహం లాగా పనిచేస్తుంది. ఈ ప్రొపల్షను మాడ్యూలు చంద్రుని చుట్టూ 100 కి.మీ.

తిరుమల శ్రీవారిని ఇస్రో శాస్త్రవేత్తల బృందం దర్శించుకుంది. గురువారం ఉదయం స్వామివారి‌ నైవేద్య విరామ సమయంలో ఇస్రో శాస్త్రవేత్తలు శ్రీవారిని దర్శించుకుని చంద్రయాన్-3 సూక్ష్మ నమూనాలను పాదాల చెంత ఉంచి ప్రత్యేక పూజలు నిర్వహించారు. శ్రీహరికోటలోని షార్ కేంద్రం నుంచి శుక్రవారం మధ్యాహ్నం2.35 గంటలకు చంద్రయాన్-3 ప్రయోగం ప్రతిష్ఠాత్మకంగా చేపట్టిన చంద్రయాన్-3 ప్రయోగం వేళ ఇస్రో అధిపతి సోమనాథ్ సూళ్లూరుపేటలోని చెంగాలమ్మ ఆలయాన్ని దర్శించుకుని ప్రత్యేక పూజలు చేశారు. ఇస్రో ఏ ప్రయోగం చేపట్టినా అమ్మవారి ఆశీస్సులు తీసుకోవడం ఆనవాయితీగా వస్తోంది. చంద్రయాన్ 3 భూ కక్ష్య లోకి ప్రవేశం విజయవంతం. 24 రోజులు భూ కక్ష్య లోనే ఉంటుంది. 24 రోజుల తర్వాత చంద్రుని వైపు పయనం. మొత్తం 3.60 లక్షల కిలోమీటర్ల పయనం. Rs.613 కోట్ల రూపాయల వ్యయం. మొత్తం ప్రయాణం 40 రోజులు. చంద్రయాన్ బరువు 3,900 కిలోలు. ఆగష్టు 23 చంద్రునిపై ల్యాండ్ అయ్యే అవకాశం. చంద్రుడిపై రోవర్ ల్యాండింగ్ అచ్చట ఉండి, చంద్రుని ఉపరితలాన్ని అధ్యయనం చేయనున్న రోవర్. మరో 40 రోజులలో చందమామను చేరే ఘట్టం ఆవిష్కృతం. అంతరిక్షంలో సరి కొత్త అధ్యాయం. ఓ చారిత్రక ప్రయోగం. దేశ వ్యాప్తంగా ఉత్కంఠ. యావత్ ప్రపంచం దృష్టి చంద్రయాన్ పైనే. ప్రపంచానికి భారత్ సత్తా చూపే సమయం. ఇస్రో శాస్త్రవేత్తల నిర్విరామ కృషి కోట్లాది భారతీయుల ఆశల రాకెట్ స్వప్నం సాకారమయ్యె సమయం మరికొన్ని రోజులలో.

Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) successfully launched India's third lunar mission, Chandrayaan 3, today at 2:35 pm, from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh. Its an exciting and proud moment for every Indian watching the live telecast .If everything goes normal then landing on the moon is expected on August 23rd at around 5.47 pm IST. Prime Minister Narendra Modi called it a "new chapter" in the country's space Odyssey which has elevated the dreams and ambitions of every Indian. Some criticize that spending funds on space exploration is not important. There's no denying that there are many important issues facing humanity that need fixing. But to deal with those problems doesn’t mean we have to stop looking up, stop exploring, and stop making discoveries. Human civilization has astonishing capacity, and we can do more than one important thing at a time. If someone thinks that a particular issue should get more attention and investment, they can and should advocate for that. The problems we face don’t persist because we’re spending money on space science and exploration. And there’s no reason to pit our aspirations against one another. In our modern world, we’re often looking for instant gratification. But science isn’t always like that. Nuclear power wasn’t harnessed for decades after the idea was first proposed; Many such countless achievements have helped bring about the modern world, with billions of people enjoying a higher quality of life than ever before. In conclusion, the Chandrayaan-3 mission is an exciting development for India's space program and for the global scientific community. The mission will build on the success of the previous mission and will help to further our understanding of the Moon and its resources. With the grace of Lord Ranganatha Swamy, lets hope for the successful landing of Chandrayaan 3 on moon...
